Funeral Crashers

Eleri, Tegwen, Glenys and Nora are a tightly-knit family who have been crashing funerals on-and-off for the past four years. However, on this occasion, it just so happens that they’ve intruded on the funeral of Cardiff legend and radio host ‘Rich Jones.’ Overwhelmed with excitement, the crashers begin breaking their regular ‘code’ and they can’t help but exhibit their, historically, rigidly concealed antics. Their behaviour is noted by other mourners and instead of hiding in the shadows, the crashers emerge into full visibility. After unsolicited photographs with the open casket, devouring the entire buffet and heckling the speeches, tensions amidst the crashers themselves become fraught.
