We’re collaborating with our friends at Theatr Genedlaethol Cymru and Theatr Clwyd to find new and exciting plays by writers based in Wales.

Play On / Am Ddrama gives writers the opportunity to send their unpublished work to an eager panel of readers who will then offer valuable feedback.

There may be an opportunity for the most promising scripts to be developed. We’ll do this by matching a play to one of our three organisations - whichever one of us is best placed to develop, commission and produce it.

So far we’ve had two rounds of submissions with readers and dramaturgs including Charles O’Rourke, Lowri Izzard, Mary Davies, Melangell Dolma, Yasmin Begum, Ffion Emlyn and Elizabeth Freestone.

We’re not taking any new expressions of interest or submissions at the moment. But future opportunities will be detailed here - and we’ll give everyone a heads-up on our social channels. So make sure you’re following us.
