I’m a diversity and inclusion specialist and former journalist. I’ve spent more than two decades working and volunteering in the arts and media. I’m currently the Head of Diversity and Inclusion at Abcam, a global life sciences firm.

I previously worked with the BBC for 15 years, mostly as a journalist, but also in data analysis, project management and subject matter expertise roles. In my role as the BBC’s Diversity & Inclusion Lead for the UK Nations, I designed, project managed and implemented the extensive consultation that led to the broadcaster’s current 3-year Diversity and Inclusion strategy.
